Some iteration of Kodacolor 400 (didn't have the paper box indicating "Hi-Definition" or "Ultramax" or other descriptors), expired by unknown period, shot at ISO 250.
Minolta Hi-Matic AF2-M, early auto-focus, auto-exposure point-n-shoot.
Dev'l & Scans by Dwayne's Photo, some pp by me.

Lilacs in flower (image cropped considerably)

My wife clearing debris from a disused margin of the yard.

View of field north of the yard; focus is on infinity.

Quality-wise, that's a level above all I've seen you post. I have been talking about the scans you get and all the variables it can introduce. It sounds like you interpret that as poor film development. It's not the same thing.

From a point of view of all the things that can cause larger than normal grain from exposure to final scan, your original post on this subject jumps right to the film maker's fault. Given that you know you're not getting very good scans, that's a big jump to a conclusion where more probable causes should be explored first, IMHO. If you have a lab in your area with a densitometer, getting some readings can also go a long way in evaluating negatives.

I second that.

I shot a roll of 2010 expired Superia 100 in 120 roll. I'll develop it when I shoot some more rolls of color. But I fear I might have wasted it. I thought I had another roll so I shot this one up on flowers as a test roll. The problem is I'm not very good at that subject. I'll keep my fingers crossed that I a least get one decent one worthy of the film.

Oh cool. I think I might have a roll of 120 Superia 100 somewhere. I shot a roll or 2 of 35mm Superia 100 way back in 2008 when I kinda first started shooting. It was great stuff. I hope your roll turns out well. I look forward to seeing the results.

Connie the dog in 2006

Probably the K1000, I think testing the JC Penney 135mm close-focusing lens I sent as a gift to my brother's wife...
Maybe not...
Some flavor of color print film.

She was a really good dog.
Not good as in well-behaved all the time...
... but good in the "I am a dog and you are my person, and that is how it should work" sense ...

Belgian sheepdog? My mom had two of them (consecutively). They were not well-behaved.

Highway dog. We literally picked her off a 14-lane (7 in each direction) divided highway. She was going south in the inner median on the northbound side.

We think she had a lot of flat-coat retriever, but those ears were totally shepherd...

All the straight lines make the small deviations that much clearer...especially the roof line.
