All the straight lines make the small deviations that much clearer...especially the roof line.
Interesting observation. Do you think it might be the Skopar, at least in part?

In my experience, the CV Color-Skopar 35 has very little distortion. The ridge line of that garage roof definitely has a downward sag

Hi,

Just popped in after my little session with the K1000, will now on go more analog.

Look at these reflections!

- Pentax K1000 - 50mm lens
- Kodak 800 film for single use camera, loose roll provided with the K1000, shoot at 640 and pushed then one step in development.
- raw scan from the developer.

Yes. Should may have taken a photo of the roll, but it was stated on the roll, Kodak 800 - for use in single use camera. Also, the actual roll had a different knob, but it still worked in a regular camera.

I may have bought some single use cameras just after they expired to retrieve the film... but that’s been decades...

Despite Rollei's statements that Nightbird is ISO 640-800 and suitable for low light situations, the last few times I had tried it suggested that that speed rating is massively optimistic. I was definitely metering this at 400 or possibly even 200 and shooting only on extremely sunny days.

It's the closest I've ever come to redscale working properly for me.
