Our old Oliver 60 was not the streamlined look, but it was a good tractor. The equipment/tractor interface was terrible, however. I learned many new cuss words watching my dad installing plows and other equipment. Later we got a big Minneapolis Moline Z, approximately equal to the Super M Farmall. It was a great tractor, and could pull three buster plows in our loam/sandy soil. I was the regular milk boy in our family. The Vernon farm has been in the family since 1914 when Grandpa Vernon bought it. My brother still lives on it with his big collection of John Deere tractors.
