What I mean by "white balance" is that, for me, it looks like there is a yellow cast over the whole photo - shadows, highlights etc.
In other words whilst the mossy rocks are golden brown the whole scene looks a bit too yellow overall.
The key is to find a neutral tone somewhere and use that to set the white balance. For example looking at the water in the rapids I would expect it to be "whiter" and less yellow than currently.
Also be warned that setting white balance of scans and colours etc can be very fiddly
And another consideration is - does the scan colour balance look the same as the slide viewed on a light table?
Because in most cases with slide film I think you'd want it to match the original, so to speak.
Not to say that you have to edit it; just an opinion in case it helps.
