While I'm waiting for my LX to arrive and get serviced I thought I'd start out with a shot taken with my first Pentax, the H3v. St. Petersburg (then Leningrad) 1973.

A few more recent photos, taken with various film cameras. I never shot much colour negative film and since the waning of slide film I've left my colour shooting to the digital realm and shot almost exclusively B&W.

Seeing that your based in Windsor, Ontario I am curious as to the location of what appears to be the arse end of a Morris 1100 or 1300, and if it is in Canada why would anyone have imported such a beast.

Because nobody wanted the other end?

Seems to make a decent planter...

Before the mid-70s we got a fair number of Brit cars in Canada, including Austins and the whole lot (even Armstrong Siddley at one point). The car is an Austin America and one of a bunch old old cars that were done up as planters a few years ago for an "installation" that was placed in a section of Wyandotte St. (main east-west thoroughfare) during a period when it was closed due to construction. They've since been spread out across the city in various locations. I should track them all down and do pics of them one day soon.
This is the front end of the Austin.

This is a Morris... just down the street.

Thanks for the info, In the UK it would be a an Austin 1100. Cool idea to turn these old cars into planters. I would definitely be shooting them all as a project.

NOT a film shot (sorry - Nikon D750/Tamron SP 90mm f2.5 macro), but I wandered past the Austin again today and it has been decorated for Christmas already...

The Canon 7 is a lovely machine - I'd say a "poor man's M4", but really it has its own set of joys.
