I shot this one back in October 2013. I've never been all that happy with the scan I originally did of it, so a few days ago I dug out the transparency and rescanned it. I am much happier with it now.

One of my favorite subjects too.

So having used your new GW690, did you notice a feature about the builtin lens hood? I read one review critical of it. Why? Because with it being a fixed lens camera and that being your only lens you need to support for this system, that is still too much to buy 67mm filters for the camera. He argued that you can not use filter stepper rings. Um, okay, I guess that's a negative.

But for me and I'd think anyone who shoots SLRs plus rangefinders the bonus of having to deploy the lens hood before you can adjust aperture/shutter speed is that it's hard to forget and leave the lens cap on! A bonus far exceeding stepper rings, IMHO.

Thanks Tuco.

Mine is the first gen GW690 that doesn't have the built in lens hood. Fuji originally sold them with a clip on hood, but my camera didn't have one when I bought it.
I kinda wish mine had the built in hood just for that shutter/aperture ring feature. I already forgot the lens cap on for one shot
