Two shots from walking the Nakasendo Way in April last year. Shoot on Fuji 200 using a Konica SII rangefinder, Hexar 49mm f2 lens.

Commercial lab for process and scanned on my low res scanner.

First one is a typical village on the route kept to its 15th Century style - you could imagine bumping into the 7 Samurai, second one is almost dying on a mountain as a blizzard swept in, we were lost for about an hour, visibility dropped to near zero and it was pretty cold and we were only equipped for fair weather. This was shot at the start when it was fun to be walking in snow before my hands froze and we got soaked.

Not sure... there's a fence in front of the house... is that what you're asking about?

Where I live, houses are built with the ground floor considered "expendable" if they are in a flood-prone area, so the ground floor in modern houses is basically uninsurable and only used as a "daylight basement"
In expensive old houses (150 years or more), the ground floor was for the servants, and the family lived on the elevated first floor. Many of those now feature small rental units on the ground floor...

But that doesn't look like what's going on here, based on the houses surrounding it, unless an old habit of flooding was remedied some time ago...

I really like the bottom image. Delta never really expires...it just gets more, um, character as it gets older.
I like it too :-) I usually have a hard time doing countryside pictures because the roads are narrow and I dare not stop the car on the side.

It looks like a hells angels clubhouse with gingerbread trim.

Forgive me for posting an iPhone shot, but I was finally able to deliver this at my lab today.
Looking forward to posting some results soon :-)

Good luck. One of the rolls I had developed last week, an hp5 was very dense, not sure if it was an over-exposure (2-3 stops) or -development issue, if it was the former, would be unusual for an entire roll IME. I'm mostly able to recover the shots with some extra work in pp. The others (color negs and a roll of tmax) appear to be perfect.
