Looks like a Ginko tree. We have allot of them in a park near my house. They produce a fruit that as it rots, smell awful.

Howdy y'all. Haven't been around much lately but...
Got married to my longtime love back on the 18th September.... 2020 was going to bend to our will and not the other way around. There were many postponements over the past few years for a number of different reasons, most of them unfortunate and this time we finally decided it would just be our closest family and we'd get this thing done, finally, at long last. Not what we wished for; many were missed, but it was a certain kind of perfect nonetheless.
Most of my photo plans went out the window for the most part as well. All who were there for our tiny gathering were encouraged to smartphone snap away, and those photos shot on film were mostly done by my now sister-in-law; I loaded the 67ii and Pentax MZ-S with whatever I felt like that morning, preset the compensation as best I could think based on all the backlight and constantly changing cloud-cover, and handed her the giant beast and said "good luck!". She's a great eye and it all turned out fantastic, if a tad underexposed and shaky at times... but then, that's pretty much how this year has been. We're happy. These are just a couple of my favorites from the day.
Joining in with everyone else and saying "Congratulations". It looks lovely.

And that is why only the male trees should be planted for landscape use.

Unfortunately, the male trees' pollen has an unusually high allergenicity index (7 on a 10-pt scale), so they're kind of a problem, too (at least for landscaping). Lovely looking and unique trees though. Only one species in the genus still exists and it looks the same as ginkgo tree fossils from 200M years ago.

Tri-X 1985. The circular image was produced by a 'wide-angle' auxiliary lens that screwed into the front filter ring. It was made for some rangefinder, used here on an SL-Xenon 50 1.8.

Some Traditional Old Structures with a Rollei T and 16-om kit

I know how Americans like our 'Old Structures and Buildings' when they visit UKI -- well here in the County of ESSEX where I live we have an old 'Post' Mill and a little Village called 'Ingatestone' ( they have a Camera Club too ! ) --- I used my 'Gift' Rolleiflex 'T' with 16-on kit and 1998 dated Fuji Reala which after testing I found I could rate at 50 ASA, metered with a 1960's British Weston Master V and Incident Light. I home-Processed in C41. and scanned with Canon 9000F Mk II + Vuescan Pro + FastStone Image Viewer to correct colours.
Mountnessing 'Post' Mill

The Old 'Almshouses' in Ingatestone Village -- we have a friend living in one. Chapel renovated 1978 under Patronage of Lord Petre

Old Buildings in Ingatestone High Street

Please wear your Mask and come here to England and spend lots of $$$$ -- we can do with the MONEY ! Also we do NOT CHARGE you for a VISA !

That is the best tourist sales pitch I've seen in a while
Beautiful images! Especially the last one. Looks like a great place to visit.

Thanks,

It must be bad if you are asking us to spend $$$$ instead of ££££

And I've got to say, Puerto Rico has some old buildings that are fun to photograph.

Though Toronto's also nice this time of year...

I wonder which one has the shortest COVID quarantine...

From what I am seeing, we (Puerto Rico) have probably the most stringent restrictions in the US as of now. Curfew from 10PM to 5AM and severe restrictions on number of people gatherings, public places closed, business limitations, etc. Everything is a wait line. Reminds me of the hurricanes of the past.

*EDIT* Nahh, not as bad as the hurricanes
Thanks,

I'm a little confused...

But it's amazing how two very different cameras can give basically the same shot...
I think these were maybe 30 minutes apart from each other...
One with my wife's Minolta 7s and its built-in 45mm or whatever lens...
The other with the ZX-L with Pentax FA 28-80 (an older one, with an aperture ring, but not as old as the PZs)
Same batch of Fuji 200 film...

Amazing how very different technologies capture about the same thing, yet not...
