At one point I began to doubt if film *ist really existed.
I've never been able to score one.
Nice pic!

Went out shooting over the weekend. Discovered that something has gone wrong with my 50mm and it will no longer focus to infinity — until you get down to the 2 or 3 meter mark, the helical turns but the lens doesn't focus.

Zenza Bronica ETR-C.
Zenzanon E 150mm f4 (#1 and maybe #2) / 50mm f2.8 (#3).
Kodak Tri-X / Portra 400.

Thanks!

I've been keeping an eye open for a *ist film for awhile now and got a nice one recently on eBay. You don't see too many compared to the digital version, so I guess it's on the rare side.

Just testing it out now with various films & lenses. It's way too small/light weight for many heavy lenses I own, thought the A50/1.2 was a pretty good fit. It's also has a "crippled" k-mount, so A Series or newer lenses.

This ones way out of my comfort zone....

I've been tempted on the odd occasion to bid for one but have not had much luck so far. My interest in film SLRs fades once they start having autofocus. The main one I'd like to try is an MZ-S but they are pricey.

Briefly had one and then it was stolen.
Great camera, I'd like to own it again but I heard you need to find the higher serial numbers (starting with 5 if I'm not mistaken) for the brass gear inside.

Yeah I also avoided AF film cameras as well, but now I have a few. I disable AF on them and use manual focusing with aperture priority. I mainly got these AF cameras for their higher shutter speeds and matrix metering.

They let me use my faster A Series lenses wide open with no need for a ND filter, as well as the matrix metering is very good for slide film like the new E100.

I really admire the canvas feel of the sky. Tri-x, love it.

That Gold 200 appears to be showing a lot of grain. I'm a bit surprised at this 200 film.

It's a quick scan and kinda soft. The borders are there because of laziness, not style.

Lomo Smena 8M, some cheapo film. Probably Fuji C200.
