We were sitting at home a few weeks back, and my wife was poking around on that advertising service that sounds like "space hook".
One of the local restaurants we had wanted to try didn't make it in the face of COVID, and the new owners (who promise to open up in March, despite ugly numbers) were selling off some of their stuff.
Outdoor chairs, restaurant grade, $45/ each. Her car is a Mini Cooper... mine was full of stuff we were taking somewhere else the next morning... so... what to do?
Bicycle trailer... hooked up and on the road in 15 minutes, grabbed a couple of chairs and right back home.
Our raggedy outdoor side table got a new coat of paint (which matched better than we deserved), and it all goes well...
Shot with a Yashica Electro 35 MC, which is a tiny, aperture-priority zone-focuser (not a rangefinder), on Fuji 200.
Apologies for desaturating the yellow, but there's a bright yellow trash can in the background that distracts otherwise... and I thought it looked fun this way...
The Yashica was a bit of a pleasant surprise -- very good lens, classic bokeh, and decent meter. If it was a rangefinder with full manual control, it would be nearly perfect...
