How do they define "European sandwich"?

I think of the cheese, lettuce, and tomato sandwich at the Geneva airport, for example (on a tiny baguette with mayonnaise)

Used to be a deli near me run by a couple of German women who were refugees from WWII. The "European" sandwiches they made only had bread, meat, cheese, mustard and mayonnaise. No lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, or other stuff that we usually see on sandwiches in the US.

Still pretty tasty, and they made their own breads, and got the meats from a local smoker who was also a WWII refugee.

I was just looking at my Prod 20's! And wondering where I put the battery that it uses, as it is an unusual size and it's no-where to be found.
Interesting that your shot didn't focus on the chain link fence, but nailed the LandRover.

I tried my Jurassic Park: Lost World camera replica. Why cows? Dinosaurs are just big cows of course

Nikon F5, 85mm 1:1.8D at probably f8, with the movie-accurate Hoya HMC Skylight filter!

Not-so-era-accurate Kodak Ultramax 400 film

No idea, maybe a grinder? Haven't had one of those in forever (somehow a submarine sandwich isn't quite the same). I grew up with a mom and pop Pizza and grinder joint nearby, if I could taste THAT particular sandwich again after more than two decades I might cry manly tears!

Pentax Auto110, 24mm 2.8, Fuji Superia 200 expired 2006.

It is such a bummer this film has been long discontinued as it is quite a bit sharper than Lomo Tiger, and I find the colours a little nicer.

Ya, it's definitely an unusual battery.
That photo was shot from the waist and I had no idea where it would focus. That camera tends to focus easier on farther away subjects so it kinda makes sense. I don't think it's a very sophisticated AF system I really like the camera though.

My neighbors had one of those parked out back for the longest time. I wondered what had become of it.

Yes! The Sutter Buttes, "The Smallest Mountain Range in the World." A beautiful area, I was at Beale AFB until 2004, loved it. Were you there before?

Yep, that has Superia's pleasing tones, I like it!
