More Ektar

Same roll, same place, same time > different colors.
I do not know if it is the development, the scan or what....

Cheers,

Luc

Cheers,

Luc, the water looks fantastic and sky looks great. I've had similar color changes happen it what appeared to be the same light. It could be the scan or your camera is catching a different light wave coming through the atmosphere.

It was this kind of smooth, true color rendition that got me going with Ektar. Strangely, I have not gotten that kind of result since my first roll. I almost wonder if it is sensitive to variation in development.

I'm of the opinion portra 160nc is one of the most natural films out there. Clear like a spring morning. That's an excellent shot.

Thanks ajuett and Nestter. I too love the color of 160NC. Just picked up 20rolls from ultrafineonline. I probably don't need to buy any other color negative films for a long time.

Javier, you are the casual shot master. Something relaxing and true about your style. Thanks.

Thanks In truth I really don't pay to much attention to what I shoot. If I see a scene, I try and get it with out thinking to much. It helps that I get on well with strangers I run into.

Did you give the sand sculpter a donation for the shot?

here it is. first color film, cheapo Fantasia 200 from Drogerie Markt. shot with Pentax MZ-S, SMC-M 50/1.4, lab developed (disaster, it is almost entirely impossible to find decent c-41 lab here that doesn't leave marks on film), scaned on Canon 8400F

ok, next on "menu" are slides. some Provia 400F 120 waiting in fridge...
