Time for me to join this thread... finally

This is a store brand film "Compliments" at ASA 200... I'm really impressed with the sharpness I haven't bought this film again since but I have to go through all that "luxury film" in my cabinet first!

Thanks again Javier. I love your b&w film too. Just bought a set of DIY stuff for b&w, I might give it a try myself. Never really developed any b&w film myself although I've been shooting for many years ...

I think if you convert them to gray scale, these images would pop more...
Thanks for the input! I did minimal PP to these (obviously) and I am on the fence about the color cast. I think it adds a dynamic to some and is distracting in others.

I'm a film newbie though, so I'm wondering if the color cast is just a product of the scanner or if it is inherent to the film. I know a lot of older b&w prints have different color casts, but I'm not sure whether it's the print paper or film emulsion doing it.

Here are my first contributions to the film thread!

ME Super, Kodak Ultramax 400.

Minor PP (mainly crop)

Taken with DA 18-55mm kit lens

My K10D in front of a waterfall... (taken with M 50mm f/1.7)

(Converted to B/W, taken with DA 18-55mm)

Sunset on the Blue Ridge Parkway (must be a bad scan) (taken with DA 18-55mm)

Enjoying the film experience so far!
