On Monday I shot a roll of Portra 400VC in Yau Ma Tei, Hong Kong. It's a nice film, with very fine grain. (MZ-7, FA 50mm f/1.4)

Tuintu, great results from the Xp2, so silvery and clean, love the wood texture on the house.

Easytiger: Sparse, clean, punchy colour shots, you seem to produce great results in monochrome and c41. Lab scans?

Loving the train station shots, Nesster

Yup, those are lab scans. If anyone's in Hong Kong, I tried a hole-in-the-wall place called Colour in August: home

Just HK $45 (US $5.80) for C-41 processing, prints, and scans. Quick turnaround and good results. They also have a discount package for Holga 120 users.

From my first two test rolls with a 6x6 Rolleicord V. Fomapan T200 developed in Rodinal 1:100. I love the Schneider Kreuznach Xenar lens on this camera. The inverted view through the viewfinder takes some getting used to but it is a really pleasant camera to use and the build quality on this thing is just awesome.

Yes, Xenars are wonderful lenses - back a page I have some samples from a Xenar in a folding camera. I like TLRs though they are a bit boxy, compared to a nice folder. Theoretically, once I get the range finder properly aligned on the Certo, that folder may provide the best of both vintage worlds...

You get great tone and depth with the Rollei.

I love the old folders as well. Still looking for a good folder with a Tessar type lens and a rangefinder. Preferably a Zeiss Ikon because of their awesome build quality and robustness.
I do really enjoy shooting with this TLR, hadn't tried one before and it's great fun. You also get lots of smiles and comments from people when you take it out on the street.

That first Certo shot is awesome Nesster!

What I like most about the Xenar is not the sharpness, though that is very good when stopped down a bit. I think it really has an awesome tonal range, fantastic creamy bokeh and a wonderful almost 3d rendering if you find the right DOF for a particular scene.

Currently developing two more rolls shot today!

Damn, I wish my Rolleicord was in a usable condition. Or that I had a Bessa! Terrific shots.

From my hometown Oulu, Finland (except the last one, which is elsewhere in Finland). Olympus XA, Tri-X 400 in Rodinal 1:50.
