I wouldn't normally shoot people with Velvia, but it was in the camera and the sky and colors were perfect... just couldn't resist.

Nikon F100; 50mmm 1.8D. Slightly expired velvia 50. All on the same roll. last 4 were shot at ISO 40

As an aside Pentax should bring back an autofocus 50mm 1.7 in the price range of the Nikon 1.8D. It's such a great lens for the price. I think I only paid $149 for a new version!

What Pentax lens did you use?
Hi - I've gone over to Nikon in film due to the relative prices of the wide angle lenses. The Nikkor 35/2, for example, focuses a bit closer than .3 ft, while the SMC Takumar 35/3.5 only manages .45 ft.

Pentax ME with Kodak Gold 200

Decided to shoot a roll of film to immortalise my last week of school. The shots above aren't technically the 'best', but they show how cool film is

Frank, Your pictures really make me want to visit Singapore someday. It seems like such a vibrant culturally diverse city-state. So much energy and color... or maybe it's just your photos that paint that picture? Either way, it looks like a beautiful place to live. Thanks for sharing!

Hello everyone,
I just want to tell how fabulous photos you all posted in this thread. Daddyluna, Agnostic, Frank... you are great, guys!

Although the summer is far away, there are still some nice memories about it. One of them is using nothing but the Pentax ME Super for taking pictures.

Well, here in Singapore we do have some good places for street photography. But you have to have some guts to take people photos Most people don't really like you to take their photos, just like elsewhere. But if you try to blend in, sometimes you can get pretty nice street candid photos.
