Beautiful shot!

Thank you very much. It is the one I consider the second best of the series. And as I like most of the shots that you post here, I appreciate the endorsement

Cheers,

Luc

Wonderful images Luc!

Steve

Thank you Steve.
I am waiting for some roll paper to print the pano.
And yesterday was a grand day. I sold my first ever print to one of my colleague at work. She is a design artist so I am glad that she liked the photo enough to buy it. It was taken with film BTW

Cheers,

Luc

Wow! Great shot Nesster! Love the tension between the kid and the dog. And to get a shadow leading your eyes from the kid to the dog that's just a lovely bonus!
+1.............fantastic

I'll be sure to have a look at the others. Is that Ilford Delta by the way?

Ibenac, that's just a wonderful set of pictures. There was only one which didn't do much for me (the mountainside blocked by clouds, others might disagree), but the others were striking.

... well, thanks for providing us with the experiment - the results are a bit muddy and grainy, perhaps good for the LOMO crowd
Nice B&W shot. I haven't shot B&W in awhile.
Experiment? A bit muddy & grainy? No.
This is the worst film ever. I will NEVER use it again and there is nothing GOOD about it. haha.
Not an experiment, a warning to others. lol.

Here is some way cheaper, and 10000x better film.

Pentax LX + DNP Centuria 100 + cz 28/2 or nokton 58/1.4

Yes, the Centuria is a really good film, unfortunately not common in the USA

More from my first Xtol (actually Fomadon Excel) experiment. SMC Takumar 55/1.8, Y2 filter, ES-II.

Thank you.
There are two things that somewhat bother me with this one:
1) the second road cut by the left border instead of ending in the trees like the other one
2) I feel that something is missing in the forefront - like a rock formation or a horse or...
Note that this less of an issue on a print as the details of the parking lot become large enough to attract attention.

Cheers,

Luc
