Eric - excellent shooting and processing - the last 3 are my faves...
Thanks -- to be fair these are all store-processed C41, I have done b/w conversions (where applicable) and some levels adjustments in Photoshop afterwards. Looking into processing my own b/w at some point in the future.

Here was a complete accident. I remember when this happened. I went to advance the film and I heard and felt it slip. As a result, there is half an exposer on top of another.

+1, I like both. Portra 400vc - good looking film.

Canon AE-1, FD50F/1.8 and FD28F/2.8 shooting Ektar 100

Here are some from my last roll of film. I decided to have a pro shop process them and scan them for me to see what the difference is. The difference is huge. Money wise, it cost twice what I pay normally, but I am happy with it.

Hi Javier,
I recently just moved up to using a pro lab as well, and also noticed a big difference.
I think here in Australia the basic photo shops that I had been using are quite expensive relative to yours, as the pro shop I have just started using is only slightly mroe expensive, but the result is 2-3x better.
Anyway, I also shot my first roll of "real" black and white recently, love the grain and the effect, and the negatives look cool!

I can tell. What pro lab you use?
Here in Japan, I send mine to NCPS in Cali. It cost about the same compared to Japanese shops and the yen rate.
