Though my hometown bridge is narrow, I find the Bridge of the Gods at Cascade Locks much more terrifying due to its sheer height.

Yeah, the Bridge of the Gods is pretty bad. I would say worse than Biggs, but fewer Semi's.

Managed to run another roll of film through my Kodak Retina IIa. I'm starting to get the hang of using the Weston lightmeter and I'm really pleased with the results this time out. That being said, the viewfinder is pretty ugly and focusing is a real chore, but it's hard to argue with results like these:

And lastly, a shot from a student production of Big Love, an adaptation of Aeschylus. If you look, the Venus de Milo is tack sharp; blur in the actors has to be due to their motion. I do have to add how much I like the Retina's quiet shutter - it barely makes a sound.

Thanks for looking. I'm hoping I'll have some K1000 shots to post tomorrow.

Hey Kevin,

Where was that production of Big Love put on? Any idea who the actor in the foreground is? He looks very much like my theater teacher (now professional actor and playwright) Greg Moss from high school!

jzietman, it was the Greater Hartford Academy of the Arts. Actor in the foreground is one of my students (who for the time being shall remain nameless <g>) who ultimately is destined for fame and fortune; a very talented young man.

Maco UP 400 plus developed in Rodinal 1:25. Bad combination, way too much grain. I like this film in Amaloco AM74 but in Rodinal it stinks. I do like these two shots though.

Darko is a cutie, and your photos are very clean - excellent BW400CN work. Though, you might want to remove the whisker in the mother's (?) chin

The nice thing about BW400CN is that on a Nikon scanner, Digital ICE would have taken care of that whisker. I spend a lot of time on TMax scans dealing with those bits of lint.
