Javier, I like the shot banjo player and also that wall with the graffiti and presidents. Oh, and the one with the streetlamps -- surreal!

tuco, I love the shot of that old crane.

Javier, the lamp posts are awesome.

I just finished scanning a roll of Provia 400. Here are a few.

MX, M50/1.7

MX, K24/2.8

MX, M100/2.8

MX, M100/2.8 I think... inspired by Stevebrot's pics of Birch trees.

My first roll through my newly CLA’d ME Super by Eric, I also had the Spotmatic CLA’d done at the same time. Eric did his usual terrific job, and both cameras came back as good as new or better!
I’ve seen some fantastic photos on this thread and decided to have both cameras back in shape and join in the fun.
The photos that follow were all shot with ME Super + Kodak BW400CN.

tuco, that crane shot is amazing! How come it looks like that, like a painting. I love the tone of it, would look great framed.

KJon, thanks! I was wondering if anyone would see what I did when taking those shots. All the curves of those rails and the constant movement of the papers. The people I work with thought I was crazy I like the organ shots and Swift's shot with that big mechanical thing. Electricity ruined everything

Brkl, pressroom might be a cool tripod shot - do a long exposure and blur the moving papers. I definitely got the curves in a big way. Lighting was great, too.

Best,
Kevin

I would do that, except I'm supposed to be working when they're printing the paper!

Thanks. Kodak HIE is infrared film. It is no longer made. It gives the picture its look and feel apart from the tone I applied.

Sad, as of this March, Kodak's 320TXP will be discontinued. It will be available in sheet film, I hear.
Awesome shots. You can always buy a bunch of the film and put it in the fridge for years.

Thanks. Actually, I did. But I've had some buyers remorse. There are plenty of fine alternatives available. But maybe some years from now I won't regret it. I did that with Panatomic-X and I still have one roll of 135 Kodak HIE remaining.

Prior to knowing it was going to be discontinued, I picked up some Acufines's ACU-1 Developer. It lists TXP as the highest rated push on their development chart at EI6400. I was going to try that out. And if I get as good results as I've seen, then I may just specialize the film for EI6400 situations.

Nesster, I actually ended up being a Hockney fan via the Metropolitan Opera. He designed a production of Stravinsky's "The Rake's Progress" and it blew my mind. There's an auction scene where the curtain went up and everything is in B&W (parquet floor, all the items for sale are in grey scale, costumes, etc). The audience all started rubbing their eyes as if there was something wrong with their vision. Then the auctioneer comes in - wearing parrot green silk breeches, a canary yellow jacket, white white WHITE makeup and a flaming orange wig - one of the most amazing visual effects I've ever seen on stage.

Re your photo, clearly you took this a while ago <g>.

Best,
Kevin
