I recently tried out some Fuji Acros (@ISO 100) in Rodinal (semi-stand, 1+200, 75 minutes or so). They turned out great! Sadly, the scanners I use at school sometimes produce newton rings on my images, but I've still got the darkroom here to use, and most scans are alright. Anyway, here are some samples:

I also shot more HP5+ (@ ISO 400), developed in Rodinal (1+50, 11 minutes). I've scanned one roll so far, another still to go.

Good results, jzietman. I haven't done much HP5+ in Rodnial. But I'm definitely going to do it more often. Here's a HP5+ in Rodinal 1+100, semi-stand.

@jzietman, I'll see your comment on krb's shots and raise you a compliment on your's. Am I remembering correctly that you just took a university course in photography? Looks like you did more than show up and eat your lunch....

@krb, nice shots. Welcome to the forums. What was the film and camera? Looking forward to seeing more of your stuff.

Best to all,
Kevin

Thanks. These were taken with my KX using Kodak bw400cn film, processed and scanned at the local Costco.

These two comments were posted way back towards the end of last year...

I think I might have something for them!

Well, it has taken the judges at Kodak a long time, but it appears that they are finally making some progress on declaring the winners of the Ektar 100 contest on Flickr. I got an email this morning from Kodak requesting information about certain things related to prize eligibility. It looks as if I may have actually won something...

That is all I know at this point. I don't even know which photo is up for the laurels. You can see my submissions here:

Thanks so much! I'm still taking the course, actually. Hopefully I'll have more to show soon!

So are congratulations in order or is it premature (you know bad luck and all)?
Maybe the Sandy Cranes got the podium...

Cheers,

Luc

Good possibility

I have my fingers crossed that my assumption is not premature. I really don't think I should be packing my bags for Disneyland, but the 20 rolls of film given to the honorable mention winners looks plenty good to me! They will also display the photo on the Kodak Web site and on Times Square...
