Javier, the one with the green car is really terrific. It must be a pretty spontaneous street shot, but it doesn't look it at all! I'll join in with praising the expired film. Makes me think of the movie Bullitt for some reason. Every shot looks like the early seventies.
Thank you very much. Most of my street shots are spontaneous. They have to be or I will miss the moment.

Steve
Thank you Steve.

Today's winner?!?!? - That should be good for at least a year . American flags flying on the building behind are the crowning touch (along with the colors). Really great shot.

Best,
Kevin
Thanks Kevin

2 with Nikkor 35/2 - I see a 3-d and sharpness here compared to the Viv, these are at f/2.8

Love the composition and color. Nice capture!

There has to be something to expired film. I love these. While the comp is great, the colors really add to these.

I recently tried out some Fuji Acros (@ISO 100) in Rodinal (semi-stand, 1+200, 75 minutes or so). They turned out great! Sadly, the scanners I use at school sometimes produce newton rings on my images, but I've still got the darkroom here to use, and most scans are alright. Anyway, here are some samples:

Simply Brilliant!

I also shot more HP5+ (@ ISO 400), developed in Rodinal (1+50, 11 minutes). I've scanned one roll so far, another still to go.

Fabamundo!...Well done!

These are both simply beautiful. I have two rolls of Acros waiting to be shot when my new camera arrives (assuming I find a compatible roll-film holder) and am looking forward to seeing what come out.

Do you consider these good results to be due to the PMK or to the Acros. The reason I ask is that I am very hesitant to work with PMK. Pyro has the reputation for toxicity.

And thank you, Steve. Actually, I don't think either is a significant factor. IMHO, it could have been another combination and the results would be similar. I see other peoples work that are not this combination and they're simply fantastic. Acros will develop great in just about any developer. And it is great for long exposures because you don't need to adjust development time for long exposures as you do with, say, cubic grain Kodak films.

So on second thought, I guess Acros was a factor in that I could mix that cyclist shot with the long exposure shot on the same roll and not worry about the development time.

I look forward to seeing your Acros shots.

Gotta take delivery of the camera first. I also have to get a roll film holder. I have a line on a Linhof Super Rollex RFH. The price is a little high, but I should probably just bite the bullet...

Steve

(Also have a couple rolls of Rollei Retro 80s in 120...hmmmm...)
