Very interesting. Makes me want to take my ES-II out for a walk

I hope pentax is still innovating with the latest camera which they plan to release this summer--I'm all ears.

Your Flickr ads are a dream come true for me. The old Nat Geo ads are one of the things that got me into this hobby in the first place.

btw, for the ES, is it possible to set manual shutter speeds below the lowest speed on the dial?

That 2nd ad for the ES is just fabulous. A picture says a 1000 words and in that photo they've got those two Takumar behemoths dwarfing the camera body that quite simply say for the brand: "Pentax is AWESOME". Only 3 words, but that's all they needed.
