Well it's settled. Following are some pics of my new baby. Also hot a Quantaray Branded 28-90 FA2 and some old school Vivitar that doesn't actually fit. I'm going back tomorrow to give back the vivvy, and pick up a 2x teleconverter instead. As for the focusing screens i'm probably going to pick at least one up. Will they fit a K200d ? Perhaps a little dremel action if the price is right.

ALso, is the AF supposed to light up like on my K200? I downloaded the manaul and it said it had 3 point AF, but im just not sure if it is supposed to have superimposed AF dot.

oh , and now, what film should i look into..? cheap or good

Anyway to the pics. (sorry , quick and dirty at around midnight.)

here is the vivtar i was talking about. Seems like it was forced on at some point....

I've just tried adapting a ZX-m focus screen for a K20, and it works quite well...
https://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/pentax-dslr-discussion/56134-diy-split-sc...-m-screen.html
Focus is spot on (same thickness), metering is OK-ish (slightly underexposed from f/1.2 to f/2.8, but then overexposed by near 2ev below f/4 - at least it's constant!).

I don't know for a k200, but I'd say the same conclusion applies.
