What do you want to know? As you mentioned, it's a fairly basic camera with little user control. It's has plastic housing, which is not very durable, but the paint won't wear off. Split image and microprism on focusing screen, so it's very easy to focus. If you want manual focus and don't push/pull film, the P30 series is a good choice. I'll probably add some photos here once my P30 and P30t arrive.

Why No Love for the Pentax P3N?

The standard MX focusing screen is not very precise with these fast lenses. If you can find one, try an SA3 screen, which was made for the 1.2 lens, or an SE plain groundglass. I found both better than the standard screen.
You could also use the equivalent screens for the LX: the SA23 or SE20.
thanks for all the information Tom..

ill hunt on ebay.

I've added an excellent condition P30N to my small collection of film SLRs. It came with an A 28-80 f/3.5 - f/4.5 lens (non-SMC). The smaller viewfinder (compared to the MX) seems to be better than I had feared, plenty bright enough.

They both look great! I see a 50/f2 on the K1000, what's on the Spottie? Is that an SMC-Takumar 55 1.8?

Perhaps it is a suggestion for a colour scheme for the next brightly coloured special edition?

Am I the only one who doesn't understand how can a photo be taken with 3 lenses at the same time?

It could be done actually, you will need a few adapters, but it is possible

We were out to day with our 3 rolls of film... I tried the Tamron 90 macro and the DA 10-17 , as well as an old 35-80 lens, on my Program Plus. Pictures to follow. I can now say I shoot with a Pentax full frame camera.
