Love the black ME. Those little FA and F 35-80s are good performers, and really small.

The FB-1/FC-1 VF combo is my favorite with the LX. Yours looks to be in great condition.

The latest addition to my growing Pentax film family with its 75mm f2.8 and 200mm f4 all in pristine condition and it even has the mod. for 0.5 stop Ev comp.in place of the CS dial.

Mod? There's a mod for 1/2 EV comp?

If you notice on my camera the CS dial has a 0 and if it's rotated counter-clockwise it has -0.5 then -1, clockwise it has +0.5 then +1. This is the very rare mod. where the CS dial has been reasigned 0.5 EV comp. function.

Ok.

But how is it done!? And who did it?

The modded wheel looks entirely professionally done. Were these a limited run from Pentax themselves or did some individual do it?

Yes the mod. is very professionally done, apart from the numbers instead of a C and an S on the wheel, the camera is cosmetically identical.
I don't believe Pentax was involved in the modification, but a company that specialised in camera mods. is more likely. After seeing 2 other modded 645s I have been searching for the source of this for quite a while
and when I found this camera it saved me from having my standard 645 from being modified.
I'm very sorry I can't be of more help

I assume the 645 is stuck in single frame advanced rather than continuous? Mind you, I cannot foresee where I would want to use continuous with MF film!

Interesting that someone when to the trouble to work out how to modify the camera in that way, certainly not a straightforward thing to do.

Yes it only has single frame mode, not a big deal when continuous frame mode is only 1 1/2 frames a second.

Not a big deal at all...continuous mode isn't really any faster than shooting Semi-Automatic anyway. I would much rather have the E-Comp than access to "Expensive mode."

So I bought the Pentax K Microscope adapter in anticipation of using a microscope. However, when I looked for a microscope to use it on, I found one but it wouldn't fit. Fortunately enough, it came with a T Mount adapter to Pentax M42. So I used my M42 to K Mount to and here it is . . .

I can't wait to dissect something!
