Thank you!. I have the cord.I really never use it just cause i have a thing with cords. I don't even use camera straps. I just hand hold my cameras all day. Have never dropped one yet. knock on wood.
the super program and motor drive is a joy to use. I have nothing bad to say about them. You should be able to put the system together for under 100 bucks if your look around. The set up you see with camera, motor drive and lens..... under $50.00
i have the Super A and it's motor (3.5fps -> a whole film is quickly finish ), but i found it a bit heavy when i do some sport session, hence i'd like to find the cord. But i will build one, it will be faster

I actually found it on KEH about a year ago. It was a freak thing. I had been looking for something else the day before and then site was down for updates. Few hours later it was back up.... then out of the sky... its a bird... no its a Pentax grip strap.... I got it no more than 45 seconds later. Kicker..... they had "2" and I only got the one. I didn't have the 60 bucks extra they wanted for it. Now I have seen 2 others on "flea-bay" since but they were only with the camera and wanted over 300 bucks. They did not last to say the least.
I haven't seen one on ebay ... ever. I get they go faster than I look for them .
One of these days ...

Picked this up for $75. Got it with another M50/1.7 but it had fungus inside. Selling it on eBay. The MX, however, works excellently. I think I got a decent deal considering the condition (minor cosmetic flaws but otherwise excellent).

Shot these on my K20D with a DA 55-300mm.

These two beautiful cameras were recently given to my by two of the friendliest and nicest car salesmen I have ever met.
Next time you're looking for a car in Oregon, make sure you go see brothers John and Bob Thomas at Ashland Motors.

Now we have to compete on the auction sites with car sales people who include vintage cameras with their sales . . .

Both cameras were purchased new in 1976 (SP-F) and 1980 (Minox) by the guys who gave them to me, and both are in mint condition.
The Minox came with original leather case, original hard plastic storage case, and the original Minox hood for the 35/2.8 lens. It also had a good mercury battery that the owner had stored out of the camera.

The Spotmatic came with the 55/1.8 shown, original ever ready case and strap, and a Tamron Adaptall 85-210 f/4.5 with ES mount.
The meter in the SP-F seemed to work yesterday, but not today, so I'm not sure about it, but everything else looks superb. The film chamber looks as if it had never been opened.

Congrats on the new additions to the arsenal, Colton. Amazing what falls into your lap when people find out you still shoot film (and, at least for the time being, they think they are done with it). Who knows what I would have done with my ME Super if my dad hadn't borrowed it back. I hadn't shot a photograph for about twenty years. If I had come across somebody who needed or wanted the camera during that time, I might have given it away, too. (Awfully glad that scenario didn't occur).

Best,
Kevin

Even if you have to CLA the SP-F it's still an amazing find.
