Updated photo to go with an updated kit. Sold the FA 45, and picked up an A 35 and FA 45-85. Kit now complete, just need to get out and use it more.
Beautiful.

My gear du jour today. ESII with Super Takumar 70-150/4.5. The ESII is quite nice, although limited by the absence of manual shutter speeds below 1/60. I was turned on to Pentax by using an ESII with a 50/1.4 in the early 70s.
The 70-150 was the first Pentax zoom, dating back to 1964. It was considered quite remarkable in its day. I find it decently sharp, with good contrast considering it is not multicoated. It's huge, but nice to use on a tripod with the mount. I've owned it for a number of years, but haven't used it that much. I'm currently testing it with FP4 for a retro look project I'm considering, as I've found that its rendering reminds me of single-coated classic lenses in general.

My new addition... I think 45 with shipping wasn't bad and it looks pretty darn clean as well. Also came with the cover whent he battery is off, the mount and hot shoe cable, and original reciept. 84 prices listed as well-214.50$. Now I need the cable for the front of the LX and a grip B!!!!!
Love the red leather!

One of my LXs was covered in navy blue by the prior owner, nice but perhaps too subtle. And the AF400T "indoor nuke" is classic, just be careful about blistering paint at close range. Of course, unless you have the Power Pack for it, which nowadays is made of Unobtainium, best carry a LOT of AA cells, the Nuke does have an appetite. BTW, the sync cable for the front panel connector is far less convenient than the hot shoe cable, but it is needed if you use the Finder Base and its attachments.

Hmmm. I have three LXs. (Some of us have little self control!) One in blue. Should I recover the others in red and white, for a patriotic look?

Good looking setup. Good photo opportunities in the Gulf Islands.

I think you should recover them. I am still fighting with morgan to get the price so I can get the purple one redone. He was great on the leather samples, but slow to tell me the price and get my money. Maybe he doesn't want to sell anything... Hmmm..

Very lucky you are. I hope you mean CLA, and not clad in a new colour.

Your right I meant CLA, it has the famous sticking/slow moving shutter.

I am sure it is a nice camera, but no need to GO LARGE. Typically 800px-1000px on the long axis is big enough. You can always link though to the full size version if you like.

Thanks Phil. I try to add an LX accessories one piece at a time.

Erik, It seemed I was the only LX owner without a winder here!

Another perspective of the LX+FB-1+FD-1+Bellows K+Slide Copier K+Pentax remote. I do need a proper macro screen if anyone is looking to part with one . . .
