Ok there is a logic to the madness...
The two LX receive ASA100 on one and ASA400 on the other.
The two MX can be used as another set with another type of film and the M lenses and a different feel to it.
The logic is weak but still

Luc

Hey, I see you bought the same Korean "Horusbennu" grips for your LX bodies that I bought for my MX.
Does the vertical portion completely block the top lug, or can a neckstrap be attached there?

How is it with the MX/ME? Does the grip block the strap as well?

I have the MX grip. It does not block the strap lug.

Do these guys make a grip that might fit the KX?

I'd love one for any of my K bodies, too. Try this email: rcnbn0512@naver.com

Thanks Chris! I just found their eBay listing and $79 USD is way too much money even if available for the KX.

Such grips are popular with the rangefinder crowd, and that's the going rate.
The one I bought makes my MX body handle much better.
I love my KX. It's worth spending $79.00 on. Isn't yours?

its not worth it for my MX, especially when the winder does the same thing. understandable for the LX, or KX. but the price is still high.

It is much lighter than the winder, even without batteries, and adds no useless mass to the bottom.
For my big hands it made the MX far more usable. IMO that makes it easily worth the price!

the weight (without batteries) will be discernible after extended use im sure. I just don't see it. and with bigger hands the 'extended mass' at the bottom would be useful would it not? especially for portrait orientation. I have little 'girly' hands as they so often get called so I can use the MX without a grip. and I often do. (though its certainly still small even in my hands) but if I had big hands it still wouldn't be worth the price over a winder. it does look good though. no arguing that.

Not unless you hold your camera by the bottom.

I hold both the grip and the bottom. I thought that was rather common... how do you hold the camera?

Right hand: Grip + shutter release
Left hand: Lens barrel

Works for vertical or horizontal orientation.
The left hand is the same for either; only the right hand moves.
