Here is my little tatty MX with my newly acquired 43 Ltd. MX didn't see much userecently because I didn't have any lens with aperture ring. I am going to shoot some film for a change now.

The MX with the FA 43 is a nice pairing! I am looking forward to seeing your pictures!

oh god, I still haven't acquired a zebra stripe 55. and that photo of one is making me sad that I haven't.
Here's a black "late" SV with my spare 'Zebra' on it.

This is the Chrome ES that some people think doesn't exist.

Here's a shot of some of my pre-Spotmatic m42 SLR cameras.

I got the body about a year ago and the lens in late August. I sent the body to Eric last summer and had him go through and see if he could get it working. The body is amazing and the optics in that lens is also amazing. A f2.8 30-70mm zoom, what a concept.

Thanks Phil. I have been fortunate. I like that black SV body and those 'zebra' lenses. The 'zebra' doesn't belong on an SV of course but they sure look good on those black bodies. That black SV is my 2nd favorite M42 body.

yea it is indeed. I noticed right away that this particular lens is actually very impressive optically. I didnt realize you had had it for that long.

Blue, that's an awesome set of Pentaxes you have there. Yes indeed!

Today was a wee miracle: the snake-skin black Spotmatic decided its meter would work, after all. At first there had been no motion, though battery and switch continuity were present.

Anyway, in celebration, a couple of camera glamour pics (taken with the FA 43):

My Oldest Pentax SLR is a K, one of the original ones from way way back. It spends most of its working days firmly attached to an 85mm 1.8 Auto-Takumar.
