My foray back into film started on a whim. I was cleaning up my old K1000 which developed a light leak in 2006 and got this bright idea to get one for parts on ebay or something. After a few minutes I realized I could get a nice functioning K1000 for 30 bucks. Then the insanity began as I started to think. I love love my new K7 but there has been something missing from my experience. Something that I wanted back, and I realized as I was purchasing the K1000 that it was film that was missing.
Within moments I realized I wanted to shoot film again and I wanted to develop my own black and whites. I had a little money to burn so I ran to one of the last camera shops still standing in town and bought the chemicals reels and several rolls of film. Back at the computer I accidentally bought a ME Super. So fast forward - ME Super came - I loaded a roll and shot it and quickly started developing and it was fun as hell. In the week or so after that I bought a back ME Super a Super A and a back up Super A and now my wife wants to kill me and I am done. I just got a little out of control. The cool part is all my lenses work on my cameras so I look at it as a win. Now back to developing, I was rusty and relearning how with the new chemicals out there but can I just say, my fun level with photography is way back up there like when I was 13 and I got my K1000. I am having a blast....

I hadn't taken a look at this thread for a long while and missed some great photos.
@tuco, like others noted, great pictures and the setup shot is just as fantastic.

Here's my recently acquired Spotmatic F. Seems like a pretty sweet camera so far. I'm hoping to be able to shoot a roll with it tomorrow.

Family and I were out on a picnic, and we brought along the Zx-5n with a mirror lens and TC on it. We mainly used it as a spotting scope to look at the ducks on the lake. It's nowhere near as impressive as the vintage beauties in this thread, but it's fun to shoot.

Hey, I, too, just acquired the exact same lens and it came with a Honeywell Spotmatic F body and 135mm f2.5 lens. I'm looking forward to shooting it too. But my meter looks like it's a stop off. I was comparing its readings to 3 other cameras with similar metering and it was reading consistently a stop to 1.5 stops low. I've had a few other M42 Taks lying around for years. Maybe I can finally put them to use again.

Cool. I shot a few frames with mine this morning. The camera has great feel, I like the open aperture metering with the SMC Taks and I like the feel of the shutter. This body seems to have the nicest shutter button lock I have used so far. Seems nicer and easier to use than the one one my MX and K2. Mine seems to be metering pretty accurately, I tested it against my Gossen Digisix and my newly acquired Soptmeter V ($40, sorry have to gloat a bit ) and it is maybe 1/3 stop low.
I like the SMC Tak 50/1.4 so far. I like the focus ring on the older Taks better though, and mine is a little stiffer than I usually like but still smooth. I did a few digital test shots with it yesterday and it seem to be on par with my FA 50/1.4 IQ wise.
What 135/2.5 did you get? Have fun with it and hope we some some of your great shots from it.

The 135mm f2.5 it came with is a SMC Tak. I already have had a Super-Tak 35mm and 28mm f3.5. So with those and the 50mm I should be set. I figure I'll just double the ISO setting and see how it does. It came with a 1.5V V625U Alkaline battery installed. Yeah, nice shutter lock for sure. The view finder is not as bright as my ME Super SE though.

ME F 50mm

Here is my ME F that I picked up last Wednesday (11/08) - I can't get over just how much fun I'm having with this camera. The lens is awesome (in my humble opinion):
