Here's my Pentax, it just came in the mail today from Adorama. It's in great shape and I'm very pleased. The second camera isn't a pentax but I found it this past weekend at a flea-market for 5 dollars. I'm anxious to run some film through them and see how well they work.

Here's my Pentax ME Super-I got this today and it came with a Takumar-A 28-80mm F3.5-4.5 lens:

Mine is the SE version of the ME Super.

@ aafuss - I'd suggest picking up a cheap wide angle lens hood for that 28-80mm Takumar zoom if you are intending to use it much. I have a copy of the identical in all but name (non SMC) Pentax 28-80mm and it tends to flare and lose contrast in certain lighting conditions without one.

Thanks Colton. The waist level finder and wide angle lens is on the list of things to buy for it.
How do you like your SMC 67 45/4? I guess that would be very wide

Delighted to hear it - but don't forget that you have a 90-day warranty in case you need to return it to us for repair - which includes 30 days for exchange or refund

Thanks Helen, will keep that in mind. The warranty is one of the main reasons that I bought the camera from Adorama instead of searching for one on Ebay. The seals and foam all look and feel brand new so I'm very happy that I don't have to get that done. I've already put a roll of film through the camera which I will probably get developed tomorrow.

I love the 45/4. I think 75% of my 6x7 shots have been taken with it. I generally like wider wide angles. On 35mm I tend to like 24mm more than 28mm.

A really wide wide angle is certainly a lot of fun - from my experiences on digital and 35mm anyway. I might have to see if I can lay my hands on a 45/4 then..

wcurtis, You can't go wrong with a Super Program, good camera. You might want to look at getting a replacement grip for the left side of the camera as seen in your picture. I bought one on "that online auction site" for about $10.

cheers

Yeah I was just looking on that auction site yesterday at the super program front grips. I definitely want one.

I do have a hood for the lens and here's another pic of my ME Super with it on:

And here's my K1000 that I got yesterday:

Currently it needs to be cleaned up-seems to have a lot rust on the body but works OK.
