My precious arrived this morning! Looks in excellent condition - even had batteries in it and the box contained 13 rolls of assorted film! The shutter is loud though....

The middle one is quite beat up and has a really big dent on the viewfinder. The impact has even cracked the glass lens over the focusing screen and jammed the little blue plastic flap.

But mechanically it's in top condition, doesn't leak and meters just fine. I like it the way it is with half of the leatherette ripped away.

Neither has shown any sticky mirror symptoms and the two other have only minor scratches on them except for the slight brassing on the mirror lockup button.

The most expensive one of the three cost me 190€...

They may be common, they may be cheap, but they are lovely. I have three working and one dead ME Super. The dead one was my first SLR.

Enjoy! K.

well, all is not as sweet as it looks. she needs work. the only shutter speed that functions properly is 1/500, and the bottom plate is in dismal shape, also the lens cap is probably long gone (that will be hard to replace) and the lens’ aperture blades have oil on them. but its a great set none the less. original box, manual, leather case, paperwork, etc.

but I finally have a lens to test my original m37 lens adapter with (that thing is idiotically rare) it will probably look very strange on my K7.

Still a sweet looking find, especially with the outer and inner boxes. I have read that there was a M37 adaptor but have never seen one for sale. I assume you have to have M37->M42->PK? I look forward to seeing some images taken with the lens.

Best wishes, Kris.

That is quite the score Yeatzee. I have found some nice gear for some amazing prices but that one pretty much beats them all.
