Thanks and yes, I was very lucky. I do use my existing K but not as much as I should. I'll need to send my new K into Eric but once it is back, I'm looking forward to a few shots.

Well my package arrived! According to the seller, it was her fathers and has been sitting in a closet since he bought it....and it certainly looks nearly unused.... I already had a K but not quite in this shape. The original plastic wrap and manual are still in the box as well....

The MX is robust, high build quality, compact, reliable, intuitive, simple, does not get in your way, just compose and shoot ... I find the most USEFUL lens to be the 35-70mm "street" zoom, I use that the most (I am afraid even more than the phenomenal 50 mm f/1.4). I like Ilford HP5 and XP2 for black & white and Fujifilm for color. I do not shoot slides (too expensive).

I also own an ist-d, K100d super, K20, Sold my K7 for funds to get the K5 in the next month i hope.
I guess i have the "bug".... I do make a point to shoot ALL of them time to time. I have to justify owning all of them for use not just to collect Though to each his own. I can not hate anyone who wants to collect such mini works of art.

On top of those i own a Zeiss Contaflex set with the 35mm,85mm,110mm,50mm f2.8 and the 1:1 50mm macro.
Minolta set with XG-m i think it is and 2 x-700 with power grip 2, motor drive (3.5), Muli function back, 360px flash with Color filter and ND set. (The Rokkor Files - X-Series Accessories) Pretty much this.
Olympus OM1, OM2n, Bellows Macro set up with 50mm,80mm,135mm T8 T10 and T28 macro flashes..... Fun Fun. I use all these on my Pentax gear fyi.

Ill toss in some pictures in a while. its about that time I take pictures of all my gear anyways.

Ah, now that's pretty. Of course, when it comes time for *me* to be asking after an LX, it won't matter to me if the outside's brassy, as long as the works are in good tune and order. But that's pretty.

I found a solution to the meter in my Super Program not working very well.

Get a Super A!!!

The family grows! Super A is now my main b+w camera, the Program Plus I still love, it's my color film and expired film body. Super Program will now be kept as an emergency/400 iso or slide film body
