I found this old veteran a few days ago, used hard and battered but functioning. all I've done so far is clean the battery contacts. It needs seals but that's easy to handle.

Gorgeous. It's got such personality.

The m42 Vivitar 28/2.5 is a great find, too. I had that lens on a Minolta SRT201. I had a whole set of Minoltas, but I decided I didn't really need them...nearly kept one just to shoot that lens.

Jeez that's a sweet camera, and makes me miss mine -- it was the lizard skin one, and a prior owner made me an offer I could not refuse to get it back. Yes, the black Spotties inspire such behavior.

This is the 5n I bought as-is for cheaps, and repaired last weekend. It's shooting well now!

No, lens was not included in that $5 purchase.

Sweet setup. I've wanted a 5n for awhile but had luck with both a 5n and a MZ-3 I've bought. 5n had cracked gear and the MZ-3's meter was shot.
Nice work with the repair and documenting it for others.

I thawed out a roll today, so I decided to go ahead and take a photo. This is my MX kit loaded with Provia. I enjoy the viewfinder on this body.

The MX with slide film...great setup, and nice selection of lenses. A little bit stretched past my usual favored 35/50/90, but good!

My goodness, that's pretty. *Chants to himself* I do not need another camera, I do not need another camera, I do not need another camera...

I found this black beauty with lens and remote cable for less than the price of the cable. I restored it with a cloth (I gave it a wipe),and every-thing functions perfectly.

S3XY! Not that my chrome one isn't just as s3xy, but also you have the period-appropriate lenses that I'm unlikely ever to shell out the funds for. WOW!
BTW, a little light reading with that?! (Everyone please note, that's the abridged version he's got there.) I read bits and pieces of the Mahabharata in college and recall it was interesting but not easy going.
