Thanks for the info Steve
The camera has a few cool features,1/125s flash sync and MLU when the timer is used.
Just recently there were a few 28/2.5 Vivitars on fleabay with B.I.N. prices in the $30-$40 range.
Thanks for the tip. I have been burned on my last couple of eBay purchases, so am staying away from there for awhile

The three lenses on the left are SMC FA 80-320, Sears Auto MC 50 F1.7, SMC Pentax-M 28mm F3.5. The two on the right are Vivitar 28-200mm F3.5-5.3, and Asanuma 200mm F3.5

The ZX-7 has a FA 28-80 F3.5-5.6, the ME has a Winder ME and a SMC Pentax-M 50mm F1.7, the ME Super has a SMC Pentax-A 50mm F1.7. I have a Battery Grip FG on the way for the ZX-7. Now it's time to get the CBA/LBA under control.

I have quite a few Pentax film bodies but my favourites are my "three exes": LX, MX and KX. The LX is just an incredible flexible camera system, the MX is small and discrete and the KX is rugged and reliable. My favourite film lenses (also used on digital of course) are my SMC-M 100mm f/2.8 and my SMC-K 135mm f/2.5.

I am also very fond of my M42 ES. It has a surprisingly accurate auto-exposure mode.

Best wishes, Kris.

That one is a peach, Matt.
I have an Auto Rikenon 50/2 in M42. I like the look it gives with black and swhite/landscapish things when I want a slightly dreamy quality ...

Another beautiful "glam" shot, Tuco. Bravo.

Best,
Kevin

P. S. Any shots of the setup? It's like learning how to do a magic trick; how it's done is almost as good as the final product. Almost.

Thanks. No, I didn't take one. But it was a simple setup with an over-done vignette applied in the raw editor. I think I may have to go back and tone that vignette down. I also took this shot with my 4x5. I struggled for over an hour trying to slice a plane of focus across the top of the camera and the lenses where you could read the text on the camera and the text on the face of the lenses. I managed to do it but I wasn't too happy with the results so I just grabbed the K-7 and shot it.

Really nice, Tuco and stratman.
I believe the Spotmatic series is the best-looking SLR of all time.
I wish Asahi had built a rangefinder with the same sweet lines ...

That's a much nicer self-portrait than the one I took with that camera when it lived in the US. I still haven't scanned that roll.
