Thanks. I think they make a great pair too. I also mentioned in your restoration thread how good the finished MX looks. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks mate.

I have the Indian Red Kid Skin on a K1000. The kits from cameraleathers.com are fall-over dead easy to install.

I have already in the reviews section: Pentax MX bodies black x 2

There were some omissions which I have corrected below:

pre-war Zeiss Ikon Volta f6.3 135mm Sonnar

post-war Zeiss Ikon Ikonta 521 with f3.5 75mm Novar

Rollei Prego 90 f3.6-9.8 28-90mm Schneider Variogon recently given away

That's one pretty ME. The 28mm is just perfect on it!

A somewhat beaten-up LX that I bought today. Seems mechanically and electronically OK though.

I got it for a reasonable amount of money locally here in Turku considered the condition it's in.

That was one of Pentax's first AF bodies. The F lenses were made for the SF series originally. One interesting feature of iSF and the PZ series was the offset shoe mount.

just picked up a couple of quantaray auto focus lenses for it. one is brand new a 28-90 mm and the other is used but in decent shape a 70-300 mm. never owned quantarays before but for what i want it for i think they'll be just fine. truth is i've never owned an auto focus camera before. so i figured i would take advantage of it's features for light duty photography.

A new addition to the fold...

I saw this Super Program (body only) on eBay and could not resist bidding on it as a companion to my A 50/1.7. The photos for the auction indicated a body in Ex+ condition and the camera in person did not disappoint. If there is a scratch on this body, I have not been able to find it. Ditto for the Pentax ever-ready case that came with it. The only deficiency is a need for new seals.

K10D, Pentax-FA 35/2

Just playing around with it, I have found it to be a very pleasant camera. It is quite small and very light. The grip makes it usable with my big hands. The viewfinder is nice and bright with a very nice split-image/microprism focus aid. I haven't decided yet whether I like it as well or better than my Ricoh XR7, but have to say that it is one fine camera. (The Pentax is a little better made and is full featured, but the Ricoh has AE Lock and traditional controls.)

Steve
