the spotmatic is one of the most beautiful pieces of industrial art ever made. i rank it with the swedish mauser m-96 rifle and winchester model 94 rifle.

Keep your eyes open on Ebay, thats where I got mine from.
I wanted to buy local and from a store but it worked out just fine for me. Guy was really cool and everything.

Looking at all of your new film cameras is part of my recovery. In fact, when the News and Rumors Forum gets really nasty I just come here and I feel all better again.

Then I open the drawer at the bottom of the fridge ......

Here's my ME Super with Vivitar 135 3.5 M42. Looks kinda naked without a big eyecup-I ordered one today.

That looks like a really old Viv.(?) I've rarely seen them with chrome on the barrel. In style, it looks somewhat like old Mamiya or Yashica M42s. I do think the ME Super is one of the best M42 cameras out there! (Only now we have to carefully coddle and preserve our original Pentax M42 adapters since they're no longer made. )

There's a little bit of slack between the body and PK-M42 adapter. And it takes forever to put the adapter on-using M42 lenses with a K body is no picnic. I want to get a 70-210 for the camera.

The ME Super is not M42 camera. Is a K mount.
