Very nice...out of curiosity, where did you get the strap? I got one like this for my daughter's Minolta some years ago and have never seen one like it since.

usually you can see these straps on rangefinder cameras, If you search ebay for "leica strap" or "RF strap" you'll find many of them, cam-in makes straps like this, matin, arnuvo, sixsix... this one is a sixsix.

Well, so far it's been in the bag or on the tripod. Not really an "around the neck" combo

Today I got a new lens today (SMC Pentax-FA 28-105mm f/3.2-4.5) and while testing it I decided to do a little photo shoot with my Pentax SV.

A little beauty that. They are so smooth on the advance. Yours looks very good. At the moment my latest SV (back from service) is loaded with film. Lens is 3.5mmf3.5, and am looking forward to the results.

What they said.

I am sorry to say that I have never put any film through my SV. Other recent acquisitions got in the way, but I have made a personal pact with myself to get it off the shelf and into the bag as soon as the roll in the Spotmatic II finishes.

My K-1000 SE

Figured I'd drag out my K-1000 SE and take a "glamour shot"...I have absolutely LOVED this sweet ol' thing from the first day I ever held it...and that, my friends, was a long, long, LONG time ago!

The utter "elegant simplicity" with which it operates. Set your film speed. Set your shutter speed. Turn the aperture ring until you get a beautifully centered needle on the right. Focus. Take the shot. Wind the film forward.

This is gonna make me find some film. I miss Ektachrome. Loves me some Ektachrome slides.

I'm also itchin' to try this lens on my K-30!

Good solid performer that will still be around long after current 'Tupper-ware' models have gone to microchip heaven.
