MZ-L have slightly smaller viewfinder than K100D + KPS magnifier but with no vignetting. It's definitely bigger than the default K100D magnifier though.
Man, if the magnifier on the K100D makes the viewfinder bigger than this, I know what's next on my shopping list.

yes that is. the ZX-L is a really neat camera, i had a good time with it for the brief amount of time i had it, but i couldn't get over the small vf and the cheaper build.
Hey Mr. K100D:

In your thread where you compared three ZX series bodies, I seem to remember you talking about the cheaper build and mentioning that the ZX-L/MZ-6 was made in China? Well, mine seems very sturdy for a plastic body and it says on the sticker on the bottom it was made in Philippines! Did two different plants make the MZ-6 bodies? Maybe the ZX-L was made in China and the MZ-6 in Philippines?

perhaps i should be more clear, i mean it was pretty sturdy but it's still the seemingly all plastic construction which is what i meant by cheap build.

perhaps when pentax were building these bodies, they were transitioning their stuff from China to the Philipines where i believe they assemble the DSLRs. note my comments on two grips that i had were from different countries as well.

I'm kind of confused. How can one tell where their body was made? The bottom of my ZX-L says "Made in Japan"

If that is what it states on the body, then that is where it was made.

So apparently, they made ZX-L/MZ-6 bodies in three different countries! I'll remember that for possible future Pentax trivia contests
