I have an ME II winder and I am not sure it can be attached to my P5. The winder is pretty versatile in that many Pentax camera models can use this; ME, ME Super, Super Program, Program Plus, MG, etc. However, I am not sure this will fit or work correclty on my P5. According to Bojidar Dimitrov's Pentax K-Mount Page it can work. However, I have an original Pentax accessory manual, circa 1984 or 1985 that gives the names of the cameras that will fit the ME II winder; the P5 is not one of the names listed. Perhaps the accessory booklet is not current enough to include the P5. Before I try to make this fit I want to make sure the winder will indeed work on my P5; dont' want to break anything. If this winder does not work what winder will? My P5 manual does not provide any information as to which winder will work.
