The motor drive version of the KX is quite rare

Pentax KX Motor Camera Review

Pros All mechanical speeds,
Cons Noisy shutter, film rewind lever, dim viewfinder
Rating 9
Price (U.S. Dollars) with Motor Drive II about 80$
Years Owned 1

I can recommend this camera: Yes

Value, Features, Performance & Size
All mechanical speeds, battery use for light meter only, built like tank, very good ergonomics, mirror lock up, motor driven mechanical camera wich reach 3fps, easy handling, simple mechanism, inforamtions about speed and aperture in viewfinder, stability when taking pictures...

Camera Review
This camera is very rare. Motorized versions of ordinary KX. I have chrome version with all black Motor Drive II. Built like tank, heavy, in hands very steady. It is very robust and well done. In his time probably costly and prestigious. Easy of use, good light meter, wide range of film speeds, mirror lock up with closing of working aperture. Reliability as the greatest advantage.
I do not like the way of light metering, film rewind lever should be slightly open. Also changed of Fressnel glass is not well resolved, it is necessary to loosen a very little and tiny screws.
