ZX-30 battery type change

Hi everyone,

Is there any way I can change the battery connection type from CR to AA for this Camera. Actually, in India at my place it is becoming bit difficult to find CR2 batteries for this camera, as almost all latest cameras are using AA rechargeable batteries. Is there any way we can do that? I tried for a battery grip as well, but it is also not available here. Any expert thoughts are most welcome.

Thanks
ntrao

Just get the battery grip (Battery grip FG) for the camera, and you'll be able to use AA batteries for your camera.

Yes but you need the battery grip as VF-19 mentioned
The grip also adds some wieght to the macera, making it more balanced.

You can also try to find rechargeable CR2 likes, I think they are available somewhere

Try asking KEH how much shipping will be to India. I bought both of my battery packs there.

Hi,

Thanks for your response. I already bought a FG battery grip in eBay and it is on its way to India.
Cheers

On a side note, just picked up one of this in California, I was interested in the lenses so the camera was a bonus.
AMAZING-NEW, the lady that was selling it got it as a present a few years back, and had not even taken the "paper film" that comes in the camera.

Now, the camera came with data back, never-ready case, etc.
Anyone knows how to change the back? is it a just-push-on the pin work?

Look at the hinge, there should be a metal pin close to the top; slide it down to shorten the hinge and the door can be pulled away and separated from the body.
