For less than that you could get a nice ME Super body + an Eric Hendrickson CLA.
Who needs no-brand zooms?

Chris

P.S. KMs are nice, too.

I can't help you with the lenses, but if you really want a nice film body send me a PM.
It's about time I started letting some of my film cameras go, since I don't give them any play time these days.

I guess you didn't follow the link and spot the Sigma 16mm FE.

Come on DB, you have been here long enough to know

Nobudy reeds dat furst won....

It takes too long to actually read the whole original post and then process the words. We all have become speed readers, only reading every 5th word.

Or in my case, a speed damaged reader.

I was just going to point out the Sigma lens... It is a good one, and not to common. That one on it's own would go for more than the whole kit. I'll throw in a recent pic taken with the lens.

I would also be quite mad if I missed that... I hate to miss things like that, but I can comfort you with that I have missed something much worse... perfect condition MZ-S for around 200 USD... Long ago but I'm still pissed about it...

Yeah Jim, I'm keeping my eye out for the holy grail as well.
One day maybe.

You're right, I missed that. I'd rather have Javier's 17mm, anyway.

Guess what, I was the first for that camera, sorry about that The only thing I can comfort you with, is that the aperture isn't working on Sigma, and I'm tentatively thinking about taking it apart...

How did you get from Ann Arbor to Oakland so quickly?

What is going on... this forum is Mind Bending of late...

I too want to know how you got a lens from the SF Bay Area Craigslist to Michigan so fast you know the aperture is stuck????

It is like we are in some forum fourth dimension where time is meaning less... unless you have to take a walk!

Yes, I love my 17mm lens.

This is my favorite rig right now. I am really digging the focus confirmation on the body as well. I think Pentax should revert back to this system where the arrow tells you what direction to turn the lens for fast manual focus. But I digress

It really is great to see some new names and faces in the dark side (film section) I must say.
