Quick Question

Do DA lenses work with film cameras like the SF-1?

The lenses without aperture ring work --
on non program cameras, only at wide open aperture
on program cameras, in program mode
on program cameras that can set aperture in body, in all modes

I use DA lenses on a pgm plus and zx-10, both of which category 2 above. Yeah, when I have them on and no other lens around, sometimes I wish I could set aperture... but they work fine

I don't recall what abilities the SF-1 has

the SF1 has an 'uncrippled' KAF mount with program AE, shutter-priority AE and aperture-priority AE, so a DA lens as well as a fully manual lens can be fully utilized.
