Pentax mz-7 lens compatability

I am thinking about purchasing an mz-7 film body (also known as the zx-7 I believe), but have never used a film camera before. It comes with the FA 28-90, but am wondering if any of my D-FA, DA or DA* lenses will work on it. I'm thinking the D-FA 100mm macro would work well, as it is the only lens I have that has an aperture ring. Will I be encountering any compatibility issues when using any of my lenses, like metering, aperture, or physical mounting issues?

You will possibly encounter some vignetting on any that are specifically designed for digital. I'm not sure about any problems with compatibility due to the lack of aperture ring.
Moving to Film SLR discussion where you'll get a more positive answer.

The D-lenses work fine in the MZ7
I tested the 18-55 (kit) lens and no problem. Some vignetting @17-24mm but none afterwards

If you see some vignetting you may want to crop or use the Panirama mode

MZ-7 does not need an aperture ring. It controls aperture exactly like a dslr. All you have to worry about is vignetting. Check out the "DA lenses on full frame" thread for more info.

The D-FA would work flawlessly on it since it was designed to work with film, but you'll probably leave it on the A setting anyway.

Thanks for the responses everyone! Glad to know that I'll be able use most of my newer lenses. That's pretty neat that pentax has backwards lens compatability, but I can also use newer glass on older cameras.
