Hello again, back to the source of all Pentax knowledge and looking for some advice please. At the moment I have an Pentax SF-7 and use the Sakar 717AF Flash unit with it.

However, I'm now looking at getting a Z-1 P / PZ-1 P and wonder if the flash will be usable with it.

When I got the flash, the website stated that it could ONLY be used with the SF range and that it couldn't be used with other later Pentax cameras.

Is this true? And would it 'fry' the Z1 if I tried to use it with it?
