A mother wish

This may not be the right section for this short story, if not, moderators, feel free to do your job

First of all, I have to warn you, there may not be a single picture in this thread, but anyway, I want to share this story with you.

When I came back to Réunion Island, my mother saw me shooting films. "Is this b&w?" she asked, "yeah, a cheap b&w chinese roll I bought when I was in BJ". "Oh, did you know that I purchased a good b&w film a few years ago because I wished to take pictures of the family? I planned to ask your aunt for her camera and shoot the whole family".
I was intrigated: "Is the film lost or what?". "I think it is in the closet near the stairs".
I took a look and found a roll of Kodak TMAX400 expired in 2005. "Damned! Mum was really looking for something, buying a pro film".

Yesterday, I finished the shantou era film loaded in my MZ-50. I took the TMAX400 roll, loaded it in my camera, I put the FA77ltd on and handed it to my mother. "Mum, I think it's time to accomplish what you bought this film for".
Tomorrow, we're going to see family. I don't know what will be the result, I don't know if this TMAX is still ok, but, what I know is that I will help my mother make her wish comes true.

Thanks for reading

The film should still be good, and the photos with that lens ought to be spectacular!

I wonder what your aunt's camera is?

My aunt owns a Nikon F...something! Knowing her, it must be a good camera.

I disagree, the F is certainly a special camera.
