Really?! I saw his new documentary about national parks on PBS and the visual was just amazing. No wonder as a Pentaxian.

His doco, "The War", was on a few months back, and the use of stills from WWII (especially American 4x5 stills taken on Speed Graphics) was amazing to see in HD.

It's also the first WWII doco I've seen that talks about Nisei soldiers, and African American soldiers, too ("Black Soldier Blues" was an Aussie one, about Australia's reaction to the treatment of African American soldiers in the US forces in Australia in WWII, and a very, very good one.)
