Pentax P5/P50

I'd just like some general opinions or words of advice on this camera; I've been using one with a winder for a while now with pretty good results. However, I read somewhere that it may develop metering issues, and I've noticed, although all my shots seem well exposed, that its meter does not exactly coincide with that of my back up P3.

i've never had problems with my P50, it seems it's metering is quite exact.

i haven't tested it against my other cameras, but i'll give it a go next time, you got me interested now..

Never had any problems with mine. A very nice camera, especially with the winder.

I agree, it is a great camera with the winder. Funny thing with mine though, using an M-80-200mm, every exposure is perfect. But throw on an M-50mm prime, and it has to be overexposed by 4 stops from the metered setting to reach proper exposure. Otherwise, the image is far, far underexposed. Any idea why?

Maybe the M50 is not stopping down properly. It would be interesting to see if the same thing happens on another body.

Yeah, its odd. On my P3, the M50 is just about perfect. Maybe underexposing by a stop. Easy to compensate though. I've got an M135 on the way, so I'll do some testing with that and see what happens.
