Old Timers

Is anyone still using an original K from way back in the 50's? Mine is still clicking strongly, and boasts an assortment of screw-mount lenses including a 135mm Rodenstock Yronar.

Not quite that far back, but I'm still using my SV3. It was CLA'd about three years ago, but still going strong. It shares M42 lens mount duties with a "newer" Spotmatic, Spotmatic F, & an *istDS.

Here's mine... I also have an AP and an S that I shoot... I have an auto takumar 105 and 135 to go with this as well as a very nice 35mm f/2.3 and a 35mm f/3.5. I shot a roll of Reala 100 (36 exp) this past weekend.

Not quite as far back as the K, but I use an S2 and an SV.

I have an AP but don't shoot with it that much. I did shoot most of a roll of Kodachrome 64 a few weeks ago with an S1a using only the Sunny F/16 Rule. I did almost bid on a K the other day on e-bay but let the time slip away and missed it.

By this poll, at least 3 people here use a K:

I have a K and matching "zebra" lens. I have an auto-tak 35mm f3.5 and Takumar 135mm f3.5 to go with this. In addition, I have two H3, SV, and a black SV.

Thanks for your r eplies. It's good to know that old Pentaxes never die, npr do they fade away. On its last outing I was using my Auto-Takumar 85mm 1.8, with excellent results.
